Based in Takapuna, on Auckland’s North Shore, WebsterLaw is a small, friendly general-practice law firm. We take instructions on corporate, commercial, property, business, employment and family law, offering sound, practical, professional advice coupled with personalised, attentive service.

The principal director, Donald Webster is a third-generation legal professional who established WebsterLaw in 1983. Since then the firm has been providing advice and legal services to companies, families and individuals across many different areas of law. In October 2012, the firm incorporated into Websterlaw Limited and Nick Smith is Donald's co-director and equal shareholder.  In 2015 Websterlaw merged its practice with its close neighbour Pratt & Co, on Tiena Pratt's retirement from full time practice.  Tiena remains with Websterlaw as a part time consultant working with her former clients.  In October 2017 Websterlaw merged with its very close neighbour, Langdon & Co.  Peter Langdon has taken a consultant's role at Websterlaw and remains active in the firm working with his former clients.  In December 2017, Websterlaw took custody of the files and deeds from another local firm, Blomkamp Cox, on the sudden death of its principal, John Andrew Reginald Cox.

WebsterLaw can help you with any requirements or concerns you have relating to company, business, family and matrimonial law, wills, deceased estates, asset protection, estate planning, trusts, powers of attorney and employment issues.  A big part of our practice is dealing with commercial and residential property, subdivision and resource consents, buying or selling, and refinancing transactions.

While we do not practice in the criminal law area, WebsterLaw does provide legal services in the courts and tribunals in the areas of employment, weather-tight homes (leaky buildings), mediations and alternative dispute resolutions.

We value our client relationships and will do everything we can to meet your needs with practical legal assistance and sound advice
